I'll move to another country, and choose the UK.
I
will not change by having a rope around my neck, I want to change
because I want to know other countries, other cultures, new people etc..
Obvious
that the situation in Portugal is difficult, if not now, I'll never try something like this, just do not want to look back 15 years from now and
regret of not having tried.
I've
always liked challenges, always wanted to go to another country, and I
think without a doubt this will be the biggest challenge that I face.
Then I'll make a bag, take my savings, a Tablet, a Swiss Army knife and a lot of willpower, and just move.
I do not go alone, I'm going with a friend, who wanted to join me, I'll tell you his blog later.
Yesterday
I had a dinner of years / Farewell, joined the people closest I have,
and more importantly that I have more affection, and was one of the best
nights I've had.
There
was all that could be, fun, laughter, remembering the old days,
karaoke, everything good, and I finally got together my best friends all in
the same place at the same time.
I
want to thank each of you for everything you gave me,
encouragement, support, believe that I am what I am is thanks to you and my
family.
I
am not a person who likes to read or write, never had blogs or something, the
greatest book I read was The Da Vinci Code, but a friend of mine told me
I should write what I hope to achieve, and then in a few years
to see if I really could achieve them, if I dodged a lot of goals, I found
the idea interesting and decided to write this blog instead of a book.
I'll
use a normal writing, I will not win any prizes for literature or
anything like that, so I hope to keep everything as simple as possible
Why a blog?
Since I decided to move away from Portugal, I started to research, and it takes time, and money.
I
used the internet, other blogs, websites, everything and anything, and
all the information gathered was sometimes not new, and the same subject can have many ways to be done, so it was kind of hard to get something good and updated.
Why this name for the blog?
I
had absolutely no ideas, until yesterday a good friend of mine offered
me a t-shirt with Tintin saying just that "I'm looking for answers," and my journey
will be seen as a process of learning and personal and professional
development, I found it a very good title.
So
hopefully also be able to help people who want to switch countries, and
specifically go to the same place as me, and I will try my best to
update the blog with information and news of the application procedures NIN
(National Insurance Number), rental rooms / homes, jobs and everything that it takes to live in another country.
I'll have another version of the blog in Portuguese because it´s my mother language and this blog will be a way to improve my English, as you can see its not very good.
